Job Req 19-02298 Job Title Regional Credit Manager Job Location Lakewood, CO - 80215 Job Type Contract ESSENTIAL DUTIES Manages accounts of an entire credit region. Demonstrates a basic to thorough understanding of the assigned systems. Evaluates the adequacy of existing procedures, identifies weaknesses, and implements improvements. Prepares both routine and special financialstatistical reports and analyzes as required. Represents the department or company on a regular basis with internal and external customers to resolve problems of a non-routine nature. Ensures consistency and accuracy of data contained within the system, analyzes problems, and recommends and implements solutions. Provides substantial input in the implementation of new systems and enhancements to existing systems. Recommends systems enhancements and development opportunities which will lead to greater efficiency, productivity, and quality. Manage past due balances to maximize the daily collection effort. Responsible for managing delinquent accounts, accounts with large balances coming due (not yet past due), and accounts with openaging credits as well as documenting all customer communications. Manage orders as necessary to ensure shipment deadlines are met. Resolve internal or external issues that could lead to delayed shipments. Address all incomingreturned calls, emails and voicemails on a timely basis. Communicate to sales and customer service any issues that may affect sales shipping. Prepare monthly reports for department supervisors (coinciding with month end). Coordinate with AR, Cash Application on any payment irregularities as requested. Review new regional credit applications for credit worthiness, approve or disapprove as warranted. MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS Education Bachelor's degree or, equivalent of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job may be considered. Experience Minimum 3 years experience. Experience with SAP preferred. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Credit Fellowship a plus Skills Knowledge and use of relevant PC software applications and skills to use them effectively, specifically spreadsheets. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. -Or- An equivalent competency level acquired through a variation of these qualifications may be considered. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Typical Office Environment requirements include reading, speaking, hearing, close vision, walking, bending, sitting, and occasional lifting up to 20 pounds.
