Job Description


SAIC is seeking a Requirements and Acquisition Policy Analyst Support to Headquarters United States Space Force (USSF) (formerly Air Force Space Command) operations requirements development activities, including Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) processes and guidance, in addition to advising leadership and training the HQ staff. Located in Colorado Springs, CO.

Job Duties:
  • Provide subject matter expertise level review of Higher Headquarters Instructions, guidance and policy changes
  • Maintain/update USSF JCIDS guidance materials and perform Alternate Management Inspection POC duties
  • Manage the Information and Resource Support System for the division and to provide subject matter expertise on all JCIDS products for the USSF corporate process, JROC/AFROC, and CRB as SME advisor to the USSF representative
  • Manage and maintain the branch web page and training status of all requirements management certification-required personnel; assist in maintaining suspenses for training
  • Provide curriculum and conduct JCIDS, PPBE and DAS training in Colorado Springs, CO and at other locations designated by the HQ
  • Qualifications


  • Minimum of nine (9)years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s Degree. Additional years ofexperience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Recent experience in HQ AFSPC/USSF (extremelyknowledgeable in HQ structure and processes)
  • Expert in JCIDS and acquisitionpolicy/process, strategic planning and concept development
  • Experience as Air Force classroominstructor
  • Working knowledge of all currentUSSF space weapon systems
  • Masters Degree
  • Requirements Management Certification Training (RMCT) Certified

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance
