Job DescriptionWe are a premier builder of specialty vehicles across a wide range of industries including Mobile Retail, Mobile Medical, Mobile Tactical & Deployment, Command Centers and Mobile Outreach. The successful candidate will join the team and assist in the evaluation and development of vehicle HVAC systems.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:* Carry out feasibility studies for new HVAC innovations.* Collaborate with sales and clients to determine customer HVAC requirements.* Estimate material, construction, and project timescales.* Ensure installed HVAC components meet vehicle upfit specification.* Verification of HVAC system function.* Test installations and systems.* Work with service department to troubleshoot and diagnose in-field issues.* Other duties as assigned by the manager.WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL ABILITIES:* Requires frequent sitting, standing, balancing, bending or stooping for prolonged periods of time.* Manual dexterity, fine manipulation and the ability to reach with hands and arms and lift up to 75 lbs.* Must be able to operate simple to complex and heavy-duty machinery.* Normal range of hearing and vision.REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:* High School Diploma or GED.* Valid Driver's License with good standing MVR.* Must be able to read and interpret wiring diagrams and vehicle schematics.* Ability to work in a fast paced environment in a safe manner.* Excellent written and verbal communication skills* Ability to successfully pass a General Abilities Assessment and Post-offer background check, physical and drug screening.
